It’s been said that dance is the expression of the body and soul to articulate what words can’t, and in my experience that’s been very true! When I first started dancing at the age of 12, it allowed me to take a break from my routine and express my emotions – emotions that could not be fully shared with friends or family.
Having since been consumed with the demands of adult life, discontinuing my dancing was the only option. Nevertheless, my six years of experience in dance has left behind many meaningful life lessons.
