Like many before me, the ability to utilise Microsoft Excel was not something I picked up in school. Even if there was an attempt to teach us Excel in school, I usually dismissed it because I saw it as neither useful nor gratifying to play with.

Question:
Although I’ve never been to university, I’ve amassed a few good years of working experience. But I now stand at a crossroads in my career: Either stay in the workforce, or take time off to pursue an undergraduate degree. Is it worth the time and money to do so?

A video of a man physically abusing his subordinate has recently gone viral in Singapore, sparking outrage from the public and calls for the authorities to step in.
The incident also reveals that workplace violence can indeed occur in Singapore, which is why effective policies and measures are needed to prevent it.

Question:
Recently, my boss told me to underreport the company’s annual revenue. When I pointed out that this was an illegal act, he told me to overlook it and even offered me a pay rise if I would promise to keep quiet about it. Although I have nothing to lose by obeying him, I still feel uneasy about doing so. What should I do?
